had nasi briyani today. it’s at a small, old school coffeeshop next to mustafa centre. the serving’s pretty big for me (but then again, my appetite has gotten smaller these days). for about $5 per plate, you get the briyani rice (which is quite a large serving because even colleague had to ask the man to give less rice), meat of your choice (we chose the fried chicken, really crispy and fragrant!), vegetable of your choice (had the brinjal… favourite dish of mine!), one boiled egg and pappadam. I thought it was quite value for money. Colleague finished everything on his plate and was extremely full.
i’m still trying to snap pictures of my food discretely cos i’ve got a feeling that colleague won’t understand the need to do so. only fellow bloggers would understand.
