I’ve sorta lost the ability to blog. No drive, no passion. Even drafting a sentence takes me about 5 minutes now. I try not to bore you with my daily events, but with nothing much going on, I have nothing to write about. I try to keep in touch with my friends, but I’m just too tired to have an intellectual conversation when I get home.
Sis says it looks like a boy, so his name is Charco. Tofu ‘died’ on Saturday – his hook broke, so now Charco’s in his place, while Tofu is resting under my IU.
I just replenished my daily lenses supply and got my eyes checked in the process. Sadly, my power increased yet again. Sigh. I’m going on a bilberry-rich diet now in hopes of getting my power lowered. I’m also going to consume lots of wolfberries as they’re said to be good for the eyes too.
“In terms of diet, it is important for us to have as much pigmented vegetables in our diet so that we can receive the nutrients that can be helpful for eye health and macular protection. These include Vitamins A, E and C, zinc and carotenoids such as Lutein and Zeaxanthin. You can find these in many vegetables and fruits such as yellow peppers, mangoes, bilberries, green leafy vegetables (kale, spinach, chard and broccoli), oranges, tangerines and eggs.”
Last night, we were reminiscing about childhood cartoons. I realized that I don’t have much memory of those cartoons but I’ve heard of them. Rainbow Brite, Care Bears (the new generation of Bears look damn evil), Smurfs, Ghostbusters, Dragonball, Pokemon, Sesame Street, The Muppet Show, Captain Planet, Strawberry Shortcake, Power Rangers. Makes me want to go onto Youtube and start watching those old school cartoons again
There’s this new guy at work (not my department though) and colleagues and I have come together to place bets on how long this new guy would last. Not that we’re being mean, but the lady whom the guy is working for, is notoriously mean and difficult to work with. She has fired at least 3 guys since I joined the company 10 months ago. The most recent candidate before this current one, left on the first day.
