Oh, have I forgotten to mention that I have recently fallen crazy in love with Shin Ramyun again? It was one of my all time favourite instant noodles when I was in Perth (thanks to my housemates who adored spicy food). I’ve heard of Koreans having a weird way to eat ramyun – that is to add cheese to the noodles. Being curious, I tried it and loved it! Somehow, the creaminess of the cheese added flavour to the soup, and the resulting soup is creamy and less spicy than without the cheese. Almost like a tomato cream based pasta dish. Interesting.
