Hong Kong 2012

I’ve got some old photos of my overnight trip with sis in Hong Kong, on the way back to Singapore from Shanghai, after visiting mum. Since sis has never been to Hong Kong prior to this trip, I was assigned the planning role. I liked the location of Nathan Road (nearer to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station) and thus booked Imperial Hotel. Transport from airport to hotel was convenient with the airport bus. Room was small but adequate for 2.

The busy shopping belt was right below our hotel, extremely convenient. We could just walk out of the lobby, cross the road and enter one of the many shopping centres. After shopping up a storm, return to the hotel to off load the shopping bags and then continue.

Drizzling so not many people on the streets. The malls were crowded!

Dinner was at a random cha chan teng. The thing about Hong Kong is that you can hardly get horrible food. Even the worst I’ve tasted, were also of Crystal Jade standard (ie, no horrible food tasted so far)
